By popular demand, Devshop now supports several units for durations of tasks, including: minutes, hours, days, weeks and decimals. The format for these units look like any of:
- 45m, 10min, 10.5 mins, 15 minutes
- 2h, 2hrs, 4.5hours
- 2d, 1 day, 3.6 days
- 0.5w, 2wks, 4.3 weeks
Just entering a number in the duration field will not change the unit, so you don't always have to re-type the unit when updating a value. It will also try to make smart choices about default units. So if you primarily work in hours, it'll figure that out. If you schedule more by the day, it'll figure that out too.
Currently, the application assumes an 8 hour work day when converting from hours to days (and a 5 day week when converting from days to weeks), but we'll be making "work time" configurable in the future, including holidays.

Enjoy! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. This was a significant change and there may be a few little cases where things aren't completely intuitive yet. Let us know, we'd love to hear about them.
